Shielded Cables

Olive Cables offer a premier quality screened & Shielded Cables which find extensive application in process control and instrumentation purposes. A Shielded Cables is an electrical wire of one or more secluded conductors with this by a general conductive layer.

The shield may be composed of braided strands of copper (or other metal, such as aluminum), a non-braided spiral twisting of copper tape, or a layer of conducting polymer. The shield minimizes capacitive coupled noise from other electrical source. The shield must be applied transversely wire splices.
